Fine and rare, small Swiss 18K yellow gold and painted enamel lady’s keyless pendant watch, circa 1890. Made for the Chinese market. The case with a scalloped edge, the front cover painted with Cupid and Psyche playing a game before a lake, and the back heavily engraved, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and five-minute Arabic numerals and gilt Louis XV hands. A gilt movement, nine jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring.
