A large Swiss 14 carat gold hunting cased quarter repeating chronograph with full calendar and moon phases, circa 1895. Glazed gilt movement, two hammers, two gongs, screw compensation balance, blued Breguet balance spring.
Engine turned gold case and gold cuvette, slide to the band at 6 o’clock to activate quarter repeating, button at 12 o’clock, to start, stop and reset the chronograph. Button on top to open front.
White enamel dial with Roman hours and decorative gilt hands, indication of the months at 12 o’clock, the date at 3 o’clock, moon phases combined with auxiliary seconds at 6 o’clock and the days at 9 o’clock.
