Gold hunting cased manual wind lever watch
–
A fine Swiss 14 carat yellow gold full hunter Art Deco pocket watch, circa 1930. This watch has a mechanical manual wind movement with frosted gilt bridges, a fine lever escapement, screwed chatons, and a swan neck regulator. The gold coloured dial features elegant gold applied stylised Breguet numerals for the hours, outer minute dots with red 13 to 24 hour markers, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and slender gold Breguet style hands. The timepiece is housed in an Art Deco 14 carat yellow gold full hunter savonette case with a polished hinged protective front cover, a fluted winding crown, and a decorative round suspension bow. The back cover has a striking geometric engine turned Art Deco design combining a polished central triangle, linear block patterns, and radiating stripes, all bordered by a textured caseband. It is accompanied by its protective brown leather case.
