Pocket watch with perpetual calendar

An important chronometer with perpetual calendar and repeater, made by Haas Neveux & Co. in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1890. This watch features a full hunter case crafted from 18 carat gold has a completely chiselled spring lid with an enamel monogram JA and the Haas case hallmark B.H.J.Co. The white enamel dial has an outer track with blue Arabic 5 minute numerals, Roman hour numerals, subsidiary dials for dates, moon phase, days and months at respectively 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock and gold hands. The first class movement has a precision lever escapement in the quality of a Geneva observatory chronometer, a perpetual calendar, moon phase and moon age, a quarter repeater, Geneva striping decoration and is double punched with the Geneva seal on the movement’s plate and bridge.
The cuvette is signed.
