Gold complicated full hunter watch
–
A very fine hunting cased complicated pocket watch made in Switzerland, circa 1905. The numbered plain case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold. Its white enamel dial features Arabic hours, an outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals and outermost fifth of a second divisions, subsidiary dials for the date at 6 o’clock, the moon phases with ages of the moon and concentric auxiliary seconds at 9, the days of the week at 12, months of the year at 3 and gold spade hands. The highly complicated, excellent quality movement, comparable to LeCoultre’s real perpetual calendar with consideration of the 29th day of February, is fitted with a lever escapement, minute repeater, moon phases, moon age and a chronograph according to the patent of Charles-Ami Barbezat-Baillot with an extremely rare counter in the perpetual calendar scale.
