A fine chronograph compteur, anker chronometer with minute repeater, made in Switzerland, circa 1890. This watch features a numbered 18 carat gold case with a finely engraved monogram on the back and a cuvette bearing the master’s punch. The enamel dial features a detailed outer chronograph 1/5th seconds track and an inner railroad style minute and hour track, both with Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute counter at 12 o’clock and blued steel hands. The movement is equipped with a precision lever escapement with an exceptionally large balance, a highly complicated anker chronometer with a chronograph, a thirty minute counter and a minute repeater.
