A Swiss 14 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch made by International Watch Co., in Schaffhausen, circa 1914. The case back is polished and engraved in fine cut with a monogram KG, gilded brass cuvette engraved with the mention: Zur Verlobung/1916/von Clary. White enamel dial, with suspended Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and yellow gold Breguet hands. A gilt brass, ¾ plate movement, going barrel with patented device, gold screwed chatons, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator with swan-neck spring and micrometric screw. Signature on the dial, case and movement.
