Solid gold watch with three lids

A fine, solid gold full hunter cased watch, made by Agassiz Watch Co. S.A. in Saint Imier Switzerland, circa 1870. The case of this watch features three 18 carat gold lids and a decoration on the front and back lid. The white enamel dial features an outer minutes track, Roman radial hours, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and Breguet steel hands. The numbered Agassiz movement is fitted with a lever escapement.
Dial and movement are signed.
