A fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold, half hunting cased, keyless pocket watch, circa 1890.
A polished case, spring-loaded front cover with glazed aperture, black enamel radial Roman chapter ring, inner minute track, hinged gold cuvette, back cover pierced with initials EE. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Case numbered and stamped LC.
