A lady’s charming Art Nouveau gold enamel pendant watch with corresponding gold enamel flower brooch, studded with diamonds, circa 1899.
Made for Cady & Olmstead, Kansas City, Missouri, sold on September 17th, 1900 with Patek Philippe extract from the archives.
An 18 carat gold and polychrome enamel case, enamel dial, arabic numerals, decorative hands, bridge movement, “Patent 2680”, screw compensation balance.
The back is decorated with opaque polychrome enamel with a colour gradient from peach to apple green and an applied chased poppy flower in high relief.
Matching brooch with diamonds and fine enamelled lily flower.
