A pocket chronometer of finest quality with original box, made by F. Guignard & Fils in Vevey, Switzerland, circa 1890. The numbered open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat pink gold, its cuvette is inscribed with Chronomètre and the back has a monogram. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial with Arabic numerals and gold, respectively black hands. The very fine quality movement has a pivoted detent chronometer escapement and 20 jewels. Dial, cuvette, movement and box are signed.
