A thin Swiss, keyless-winding, Art Deco dress watch with gold chain and green leather fitted box, circa 1925.
Round-shaped, 18-carat yellow gold case with hinged case back. Case back engraved and blue enamelled with a coat-of-arms: a lion Rampant inside a shield under a Count crown. Silvered dial with Arabic numerals, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and gold spade hands. Rhodium-plated movement with going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, compensated balance with gold poising screws, blued steel hairspring with a terminal curve, and eight adjustments.
Dial, case and movement signed. Accompanied by a green leather fitted box signed by Luis Sanz, Joyero de la Real Casa, Madrid & San Sebastian (Spain) and extract from the Archives, dated March 12, 2019, mentioned that this watch was sold on February 22, 1927.
