Gold ladies’ pocket watch

A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1890. The jewelled movement with a lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and spade hands. The case with textured chasing on both sides. Dial, cuvette and movement signed, case and movement with matching numbers, the interior of the hinged covers is stamped PPC and numbered. Comes with an associated metal pendant and a letter confirming that the present watch was sold on June 20th, 1887, to Messrs Schwob Frères.
