A very fine Swiss, large, keyless, 18K yellow gold dress watch, circa 1918. Accompanied by the original Vacheron & Constantin fitted box and Certificate of Origin. A solid, polished case, the back cover with engraved monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with dauphine numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
