An elegant minute repeating Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch, with an extract from the archives, circa 1905. Sold in 1906.
18-Carat gold, polished, à goutte case, numbered and signed gold dome and slide for repeating mechanism. White enamel dial with radial Breguet numerals, outer minutes track with red Arabic five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and gold Louis XV hands. Bridge movement, rhodium-plated, Geneva stripes decoration, eight adj., 31 jewels, two hammers, two gongs, wolf teeth winding wheels, gold screw compensation balance, and counterpoised lever. Dial, case and movement signed.
