A Swiss 18K yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1923. A solid, polished case, the front cover with engraved monogram J.F.G, triple hinged, gold cuvette engraved: From M. J. October 3, 1923. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel spade hands. Extra quality, rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 22 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to eight positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator.
