A heavy Swiss 18 carat gold keyless wind quarter repeating calendar chronograph full hunter pocket watch with moon phase, circa 1890. Swiss lever, compensated balance, steel chronograph work, two polished hammers striking on two gongs.
White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, black outer minute and 0-300 scales, subsidiary dials at 6 and 12 for seconds combined with moon phase and date, month and day apertures at 3 and 9, gilt Louis XV style hands, blued steel centre chronograph hand. Polished round case, chronograph button at 12, repeat button at 7.
