A fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold half-hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1875. Sprung and hinged front cover with glazed aperture, black champleve enamel and blue enamel radial Roman numerals, inner minute track, back cover with monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with red Arabic five-minute numerals. Blue steel spade hands. A matte gilt movement, 15 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold adjustment screws, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Case and cuvette numbered.
