A very fine Swiss 18K gold gentleman’s pocket watch with quarter-hour repeater, former aristocratic property, circa 1875.
Engine turned 18K gold à-goutte case with an aristocratic monogram, case hallmark Louis Audemars No.12072, and the dome with seller’s signature H. Rissen Paris. Enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and red gold hands. Precision lever movement of the finest quality, repeating the hours and quarters, and rare winding mechanism.
