Pink gold chronograph pocket watch

An early Swiss 18 carat pink gold open faced keyless pocket watch with chronograph made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1867. The chronograph is activated through the crown, a safety bolt locking the chronograph functions by a slide at 1 o’clock. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track with fifth of a second divisions and Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 and blued steel spade hands. Rhodium plated movement with 26 jewels, a counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance and blued steel flat balance spring, a visible chronograph mechanism. Dial signed, case and movement signed. Comes with an Extract from the Archives.
