A heavy pink gold split seconds chronograph “Rattrapante” by Timing & Repeating Watch Company Genèva, made for Waltham USA, circa 1890. A 14K gold, American gold case signed C.W.C. Co, case band punched Pat. Dec.86, rare and interesting Swiss precision lever movement with unusual construction of splits seconds chronograph, main plate inscribed “Patent 3224″(Lugrin patent),  original and signed enamel dial, blued steel hands, single-button chronograph, lateral slider for split seconds hand, in good condition, rare and interesting collector’s watch, very early American split seconds chronograph pocket watch, a joint project by Waltham USA and the Timing & Repeating Watch Company Genèva.
