A fine and unusual Swiss, 18 Carat yellow gold watch in the form of a walnut, circa 1950.
A solid, polished case, encased into an 18 Carat yellow gold spring-loaded walnut shell.  Satiné silver dial with applied yellow gold dart indexes. Yellow gold feuille hands.
A rhodium plated movement, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self compensating flat balance spring. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Walnut actual size.
