A fine, Swiss 18K pink gold, double-dial, keyless hunting cased pocket watch, with a calendar on the reverse based on B. Haas Jne & Cie, Genève, circa 1890.
A nickel-plated movement, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, double-sided spring cover mechanism over the crown, glazed on both sides. Heavy and solid 18K pink gold à-goutte quality case with initials on the polished front cover and a skeletonized back. Two dials: enamel dial on the front with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and red gold pear hands; on the back, a view of the fine anchor chronometer movement very good quality, screwed gold chatons, patented calendar B. Haas Jne & Cie, Genève, display of the day of the week and date on red gold hands from the centre.
