According to family tradition, this watch once belonged to surgeon Gabriel Roux from Marseille. It was a gift from a patient and has been carefully kept in its original box marked with the initials G R. The set includes all original accessories: the Patek Philippe certificate of origin, a spare spring, a spare crystal, and a leather travel case. Its condition is excellent. Dr Gabriel Roux, a professor at the École de Médecine and surgeon at Marseille hospitals by age 29, was highly regarded for his surgical skills. He also stood out during the Great War of 1914-1918.
