Gold hunting cased mechanical pocket watch

A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch, made by Omega, circa 1923. This watch has a hand wound mechanical movement with a lever escapement, a Breguet balance spring, and a frost gilded bridge layout. It is signed Fabrique en Suisse Omega and numbered on the main plate. The white enamel dial shows painted black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock inscribed Importé de Suisse, and ornate gold hands. The round, solid gold hunting case features a spring loaded front cover monogrammed CB, a fluted crown, and a matching gold dust cover cuvette with a perlage finish inside. It comes with a gold vest chain and its original fitted presentation case lined with purple velvet, bearing the retailer’s insignia E. Riss, Strasbourg.
