Silver Breitling with service receipt and pouch

A very rare Swiss silver pocket watch accompanied by a Breitling service receipt and a modern Breitling pouch, circa 1880. An engine-turned with polished borders, reeded band. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel spade hands. A frosted gilt movement, four jewels, cylinder escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Movement signed.

The dial is chipped and the hands are partially replaced.

This watch is a very early example of a Breitling pocket watch. The watch was serviced in 2004 at the Breitling factory in Geneva.
