A fine Swiss, yellow gold, keyless, hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1868. Retailed by A.H. Rodanet & Cie. Constructeur de Chronomètres, 38, Rue Vivienne, Paris. The watch features a Ligne movement with a lever escapement. Its white enamel dial displays radial Roman numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, and steel spade hands. The plain 18 carat yellow monogrammed gold case includes a cuvette signed by the retailer. The watch comes with a Patek Philippe presentation box and an Extract from the Archives confirming the date of sale as 13 August 1869.

The case is in overall good condition, showing surface wear appropriate for its age. It has undergone a light polish in the past. A couple of small dents are on the hinged back, and the bottom of the hunting case is slightly loose. The front monogram has been partially polished away. The enamel dial remains in good condition, with a few visible hairlines. The movement is in proper working order.
