A very fine and rare Swiss, octagonal, keyless, 18 Carat yellow gold and enamel Art Deco dress watch with ivory dial, circa 1930. A solid bezel and case back decorated with matching blue and green enamel repeated pattern, enamelled monogram on the case back.

Light blue coloured ivory dial with painted stylized Arabic numerals, outer minute track, off-white centre with coloured floral decoration. Blued steel cathédrale hands. Nickel-silver movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring. Case and movement signed, dial signed by Gübelin.
