A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold keyless open faced pocket watch, circa 1930. This watch features a mechanical movement with pendant winding, a lever escapement, a compensated bimetallic balance wheel, and a Breguet balance spring. It has a white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, and gold spade hands. The case is made of 18 carat gold and boasts an armorial case back with a finely chased coat of arms, underscored by the motto Post Tenebras Lux. The inner case is engraved with Concours Hippique International Genève, 1928. The dial, inner case, and movement are all signed.
