Platinum ultra flat pocket watch

An ultra flat Swiss platinum hunting cased Art Deco pocket watch made by Vacheron & Constantin in Geneva, Switzerland, circa 1930. The plain case was crafted from platinum and showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail that Vacheron & Constantin is renowned for. The platinum casing not only adds to the watch’s aesthetic appeal but also ensures its durability and longevity. One of the standout features of this timepiece is its excellently preserved Breguet dial with applied Arabic hour numerals, an outer dot minute track and very rare hands. It is further fitted with an ultra flat movement featuring a precision lever escapement, eight adjustments and 18 jewels. The case, dial and movement are signed and have matching numbers.

The present watch is only 5 mm thick and completely original. Vacheron & Constantin platinum dress watches are very rare and coveted collector’s items. Hardly any examples are known to have been designed with a full hunter case.
