Silver skull-form watch and chain

A Swiss silver cylinder watch in the form of a skull with matching silver chain, circa 1920. Small circular gilt bar movement with going barrel, plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring, polished steel cylinder and steel escape wheel. Wound through the engraved silver dial with Roman numerals and blue steel hands. Cast silver case in the form of a skull, the top of the skull hinges at the back to reveal the dial, in the base of the jaw a representation of a serpent. Accompanied by a matching silver chain with cast links in the form of cast bones, large cast skeletal hand.
