A fine and rare Swiss gold, enamel and diamond-set keyless cylinder pendant watch in the form of a strawberry, circa 1890. Frosted gilt movement, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. White enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals and red 12, outer gold dot minute divisions and original gold spade hands. The strawberry-form case hinged and sprung, the covers overlaid with translucent red enamel, rose-cut diamond-set leaves, gold stalk forming the suspension loop, release catch and hand-setting button, and reeded bezel for winding the movement. Movement numbered.
