A Swiss decorative diamond and gemstone set lady’s pendant watch with corresponding lapis lazuli watch chain and brooch, circa 1840. This watch features an 18 carat gold engraved case, with the front and back adorned with lapis lazuli and green haematite arranged in a rosette design, centred with diamonds and finished with a signed gold dome. The enamel dial displays radial Roman numerals and has blued Breguet hands. It operates with a bridge movement that is key wound, frosted, and gilt, featuring a cylinder escapement and a three arm brass balance.
