A fine, thin Geneva enamel gentleman’s pocket watch with original box, original certificate and Patek Philippe extract from the archives, circa 1924. Sold on January 25th, 1927.
18 carat gold/platinum case, case design “Murat”, polished, with black enamelled band, bezel and bow, 14 platinum rings to the caseband, platinum push back with presentation engraving: “CEH Presented by Connecticut Bankers Assn 1905 Secretary 1927”. Signed silvered dial with applied Arabic gold Breguet numerals and gold Breguet hands. Rhodium-plated bridge movement with “fausses côtes” decoration, 8 adj., 18 jewels and gold screw compensation balance.
