A gentleman’s very fine and extremely rare minute repeating Geneva pocket watch with split seconds chronograph, circa 1904.
18k gold case, polished, à goutte, signed gold dome, pushers for split seconds chronograph at “12” and “1”, slide for repeating mechanism. Enamel dial, Arabic “Breguet” numerals, auxiliary seconds, blued spade hands. Bridge movement, nickel plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, very finely ground bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance, counter poised lever.
