A fine Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch with alarm, circa 1930.
The case is 18 carat gold polished with case maker punch mark “FT” (Frederick Thoms) and gold dome. The dial is black enamel with luminous Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, alarm disc with Arabic numerals and luminous skeleton hands. And the movement is a signed, frosted, gilt, 1/2 plate movement with one hammer, one gong, seesaw winding, two barrels, club-tooth lever escapement and screw compensation balance.
