A very fine and very rare Swiss, miniature, 18K gold and rose-cut diamond-set keyless lady’s pendant watch, circa 1888. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Made in 1888 and sold to Tiffany & Co., New York, on January 15, 1892. A polished case, the back cover applied with a rose-cut diamond-set monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial blue Dauphine numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
