An exquisite Swiss gold and enamel open faced lever ladies’ pocket watch, circa 1905.  Precision lever movement in rare women’s size, hallmarked twice with the Geneva seal.
White enamel dial with black radial Breguet-style hours and red Arabic five-minute numerals, Louis XV-style gold hands. Polished case, on the reverse a polychrome enamel Art Nouveau water lily. Case numbered, dial signed.

The signature is very likely the retailer’s signature. Even if the extremely fine movement is unsigned, the double hallmarking of the Geneva seal indicates the quality of this watch, which is quite comparable with ladies’ watches from the famous Geneva manufacturers Patek Philippe and Vacheron & Constantin.
