A very fine and rare Swiss, 18K pink gold and red champlevé enamel keyless dress watch, circa 1895. A gold pin with three gold and enamel Calatrava medals. Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe morocco fitted box and the Extract from the Archives. Sold on February 17, 1904. A polished case, the bezel, pendant and border of the back cover decorated with a red champlevé enamel geometric pattern called Torsade by Patek Philippe. Hinged gold cuvette.

Cream enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 21 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, Adjusted cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, Patek Philippe patented micrometre cam regulator, patented January 13, 1891. Dial, case and movement signed. From the Collection of a Spanish Gentleman.
