A Swiss 14 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless Art Deco pocket watch made by Havila Watch Co., in Geneva, circa 1930. Model; Chronometer de precision. The cover and case back are engine turned with vertical geometric patterns, and on the cover is an escutcheon with the cypher G V. Gilded colour metallic dial, with suspended applied Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary dial at 6 and blued steel Lozenge hands. A rhodium plated movement, going barrel, gold screwed chatons, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index-regulator with swanneck spring and micrometric screw. Signature on the dial, case and movement.
