Heavy anker chronometer with splendour case
–
A heavy anker chronometer pocket watch with splendour case, made by B. Haas Jeune in Paris Genéve, circa 1890. The numbered open faced splendour case was crafted from gold and tula silver, has gold hinges, a front lid decorated with a representation of a jumping horse and the back lid is decorated with a hunting motif. The white enamel dial has black Arabic hour-, red Arabic minute- and second numerals , a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The movement has an anker chronometer movement in finest quality, large chronometer balance, Geneva striping and wolf’s toothing.
The cuvette is signed.
