A fine and rare 18K yellow gold Swiss, keyless Chronometro Gondolo with 24-hour dial, circa 1909. Retailed by Gondolo & Laboriau, Relojoeiros, Riode- Janeiro. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. The back is engine-turned with a foliate monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, red chapters “6-12-18-0 (24)”, outer minute track and subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands. A gilt brass movement, gold wheel train, 21 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight line lever escapement a moustaches, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with Patek Philippe patented micrometric index. Dial, case and movement signed.
