A fine, large Swiss quarter repeating hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph, circa 1890.
14 carat rose gold polished case with signed gold dome, glazed movement, chronograph pusher at “2” and pusher for repetition at “6”. Signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds and gold Louis XV hands. 1/2 plate movement, frosted, gilt, with finely ground chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, two hammers / two gongs, governor for repetition and a screw compensation balance.
