A rare Swiss hunting cased pocket watch with double dial and calendar, circa 1890.
The polished case is 14 carat gold. The bridge movement is rhodium-plated with “Geneva striping” decoration, gold screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever. And it has two dials: front side – enamel with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and arrow shaped hands; second dial on reverse side – with skeletonized centre and enamel chapter ring for indicating the days of the week and the date.
