A fine and rare yellow gold dragon decorated pendant watch, circa 1840. A polished case with flower and scroll bezel, pendant and bow with dragon motif outside of the case, case back engraved engine turned, flower and scroll and hinged gold cuvette. Matte silver dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, engraved flowers in the centre and gold Breguet hands. Frosted gilt movement with bar calibre, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three arm frosted gilt balance with flat blued steel balance spring and an index regulator.
