A Swiss gold, enamel and pearl set manual winding sonnerie pocket watch with hour and quarter repeater, circa 1790. The mechanical movement features key winding (missing) and a verge escapement. It has a signed enamelled dial with painted Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer minutes track with Arabic five minute numerals, a key wind aperture at 2, and filigree hands. The 18 carat yellow gold case is adorned with fine pearls, uncertified, set around its circumference, and the back of the case showcases blue enamel guilloche.
