Gold gentleman’s open faced watch

A gentleman’s Geneva pocket watch with split seconds chronograph delivered to Spaulding & Co. Jewellers Chicago, circa 1905. Bridge movement, nickel plated, Geneva striping decoration, very finely ground bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, gold screw compensation balance, counterpoised lever.
18 Carat polished pink gold case , numbered and signed gold dome, pusher for chronograph at 10/ 11 o’clock and a locking device at 11 o’clock to prevent the chronograph from being activated accidentally.
White enamel dial, radial Arabic numerals, minute outer track, auxiliary seconds at 6 o’clock, signed, blued steel spade hands. Movement signed: Spaulding & Co. Chicago and Patek, Philippe & Co. Geneva.
