Half hunting cased gold pocket watch by Favre

A technical interesting, and very fine Swiss pocket watch chronometer with 1/8 hours repeater, Bascule escapement, calendar and original mahogany box, circa 1865.
Engine turned 18-carat gold a goutte case with reeded midsection, signed Favre, and the dome inscribed Echappement Libre a Bascule. Finest quality and rare precision lever movement with 32 jewels, Swiss pivoted detent escapement, repeating hours, quarters and half-quarters. White enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, two sunk subsidiary dials for date and constant seconds and spade hands. This watch is a real rarity and nearly unused.
