A highly attractive an impressive Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph pocket watch with full calendar and moon phases made by L.C. Grandjean in Le Locle, circa 1890. Glazed bridge movement with a lever escapement, two hammers, two gongs and a screw compensation balance. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, outermost fifth of a second divisions calibrated from 0-300, an aperture for the months of the year at 12 o’clock, date indication at 3, days of the week at 9, auxiliary seconds with concentric phases of the moon at 6 and original gold Louis XV hands. A massive plain case.
