A German 18 carat yellow gold keyless pocket watch, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte b/Dresden, circa 1890. Cover and case back polished. White enamel dial with suspended Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 and yellow gold spade hands. A gilt brass movement, ¾ plate, going barrel, gold screwed chatons, Lange gold straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, diamond end stone, index regulator with swanneck spring and micrometric screw. Signature on the dial, case and movement.
